This is my story of how Jesus continues to rescue me from myself. I am learning to put Him first. If you have found this blog, we are some how connected and it is my prayer it points you to Him. Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

At War with the Devil
My life wasn't a battle until I became a threat to evil. Now its a full on war. There was a time when I didn't see/feel the war around me. I was numb to it. The veil of culture fooled me into thinking there is no war. This nullified my gifts(weapons) and made me a non-threat to evil. Now that I have been given the eyes to see the ears to hear the truth of how evil runs this world I have no choice but to fight/protect. - Facebook Post

Where I am at today!
A letter to a friend this week reads:
All is well in the war over my heart and the hearts of my family and friends. I still listen to both Piper and Boyd. I enjoy the two points of view. I love Greg Boyd for his view of the Warrior Jesus who came to save us and show us how to fight the real battle for our hearts and how evil so is present in our lives. I love John Piper for his solid theology and reverence. I don’t get too caught up in any one preacher. My faith is not based upon any preacher, pastor or priest. These are men with their own beliefs and take on God’s word. I find little comfort in religion or denominational churchs. I find my relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit much more grounded in the Word and in talking, praying and watching God at work in my life and in those around me. Life to me now is much different; it is all Spiritual, it is all about evil and good(love) nothing in between. I don’t DO Christianity, I walk with God and try to do what he ask me to do. I try to live like Christ somehow and read how he said to do life, to do life from the heart and build his kingdom. I find no value in rational thinking, I find value in love. Where that takes me I have not a clue I just try to live differently as did Jesus.

The Warrior's Tools
We are warriors created here by God to engage the dog eat dog world. Realize our tools are those that Jesus taught us by becoming flesh and showing us a radical way to love and give to one another. Love always wins as history has showed us.
These are the weapons of real warriors.
-Loving
-Acts of kindness
-Hugs
-tell someone you appreciate them or better yet say you love them
-objecting to little sins
-call a friend out on a wrong
-give back of you time and talents
-witnessing Gods and Jesus's work/will in anf for your life
-SAYING HELLO TO STRANGERS
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. Paul
